Course description | A comprehensive survey of theories of truth, including the correspondence and coherence theories, and pragmatism. The semantic conception of truth (Tarski), and more recent debates about deflationism. Other topics discussed may include relativism, debates about truth and meaning, and the semantic paradoxes.
