Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the course, students will:-
- have acquired a basic understanding of phonetics;
- have acquaintance with methods of phonological reconstruction;
- have a thorough knowledge of PIE phonology;
- have a good knowledge of the root structure(s) of the PIE language;
- have a basic understanding of the morphology and syntax of the PIE verb;
- have a basic understanding of the morphology and syntax of the PIE noun. |
