Course description | The course is designed as an introduction to the very broad field of international development. It aims to:
- Stimulate interest in international development issues
- Help students to become $ùintelligent customers&© of information on international development, through critical analysis of some commonly-used measurements and theoretical frameworks, and (further) developing critical listening skills
- Share some current debates and $ùhot topics&©
- Form a basis for more theoretical and detailed work in later courses
- Be an enjoyable and participatory course |
