Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
An introduction to mathematical modelling of a given observed phenomena.
Thorough understanding of the applications of tensor calculus in mechanics, with applications to fluid mechanics, geophysics and magnetohydrodynamics.
An understanding of the relation between local conservation laws and global balance equations in continuum models. |
