Course description | Course for final year students in Honours programmes in Mathematics.
Solving linear equations in integers, primes, Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic, primitive roots, pseudoprimes, congruences, quadratic residues and reciprocity, arithmetical functions, representation of integers as sums of squares, and p-adic numbers. |
