| Course description | This course aims to promote an understanding of how large and small scale projects for control of infectious diseases should be designed to integrate scientific knowledge into disease control programmes in the field

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course the candidate should understand:
* Project planning and design
* Differences in coverage between scientific field trials and large scale control programmes
* The challenges of project management, monitoring and evaluation
* Project financial management.
* Innovation & technology uptake and sustainability

Assessment Information
| Formal summative written assessment will constitute 60% of the student's grade. Online assessment will incorporate a variety of activities will constitute 40% of their overall course grade and is taken to represent a formative assessment of learning throughout the programme. |
