Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of the module course members will have:
LO1 demonstrated awareness of theories related to personal and social development including career development theories which underpin career choice and decision-making;
LO2 applied this awareness to evaluate those opportunities that arise across school, cross-curricular and special-focus approaches;
LO3 analysed and discussed research findings and research methods appropriate to the context;
LO4 identified and analysed a range of learning and teaching experiences that focus on the personal, social and vocational developmental needs of students within Personal and Social Education;
LO5 developed and evaluated, as a result of this analysis, a planned curricular experience for effective learning and teaching in Personal and Social Education within their own institutional context;
LO6 used the evaluation in order to inform both personal and professional practice.
