Course description | The half course examines the development and uses of ICT in technological teaching. It also requires students to investigate changes in the modern design and manufacturing process and the impact of these on the school technological curriculum. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course the student should be able to:
i. Evaluate and select appropriate ICT resources.
ii. Discuss developments in control technology.
iii. Explain how advances in manufacturing technology have increased consumer choice and product availability.
iv. Identify 'new' materials and discuss their suitability for design work in secondary schools. |
