Course description | This course focuses on key concepts within Moral Philosophy, the Philosophy of Religion and four World Religions. It seeks to show how these ideas can inform our teaching of RMPS within the classroom. The course encourages the teaching of RMPS within a philosophical model and requires the production of challenging programmes of work which emphasis Personal Search, Cross Curricula Issues and Differentiation. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course students are able to:
- demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of key concepts within Moral Philosophy, the Philosophy of Religion, Christianity and three other World Religions.
- devise and teach stimulating relevant and challenging programmes of work for use in the primary school with particular reference to Personal Search, Cross Curricula Issues and Differentiation. |

The assessment of this course comprises a 1500 word essay focussing on key concepts within Moral Philosophy and the Philosophy of Religion linked to three personal search lesson plans. |
