Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of this course, students have the necessary skills required for their studies at the School, examples of the skills they will acquire include:-
- producing an essay using a word processor in the format required by the School;
- communicating by email with peers and academic staff;
- having basic knowledge of internet research skills;
- using IT software to prepare a slide show for use in seminars.

Assessment Information
As this course will be a non-credit bearing course, no formal assessment will be carried out. However, in order to progress through the course, it is necesary for students to undertake automated self-tests and submit materials. Students must successfully complete all of the modules over two years of full-time study (or equivalent part-time), in order to pass the course. |
