Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course students will be able to:
- Show proficiency in the quantitative analysis of kinetic data
- Relate a theoretical reaction mechanism to an experimentally determined rate law
- Predict the structure and reactivity of simple organometallic complexes, and understand how the chemistry of such complexes may be used and adapted to provide mechanisms for catalytic transformations
- Understand the basic concepts of biological catalysis by enzymes, including enzyme and active site structure and the quantitative analysis of reaction mechanisms |
