Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
The Module aims to give students with no previous knowledge of Scottish Gaelic the beginnings of a thorough grounding in written and spoken Modern Scottish Gaelic by combining an active use of the language with an intellectual understanding of grammatical structure. Students will be provided with rudimentary reading and writing knowledge of Scottish Gaelic and the beginnings of an ability to participate in basic conversations. |
Assessment Information
Weekly language exercises and other written assignments counting as 50% of the final course mark, and a final exam counting for 50% of the final course mark. |
