Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
1. Demonstrate & discuss knowledge of the ethical and legal requirements of a veterinary professional
2. Demonstrate knowledge of the financial implications and structures of practice.
3. Recognise the diversity of funding sources and routes for pursuing veterinary research.
4. Demonstrate awareness that clinical judgements and diagnostic procedures may vary according to ethical and social contexts
5. Demonstrate appropriate clinical communication & record keeping
6. Discuss the principles underpinning successful practice management
7. Recognise factors affecting communication with clients with diverse needs and identify strategies that may be helpful.
8. Further develop clinical skills relevant to physical examination, diagnostic approaches and therapeutic strategies in common veterinary species
