? To introduce the basic concepts of how humans perceive and interact with the environment
? To provide an understanding of the rationale of behaviour studies and of the social, architectural and environmental issues that originated them.
? To create an awareness of the relevance of environmental behaviour in the design professions
? To provide a basic knowledge of research methods and their application in environment and behaviour research
? To provide basic statistical concepts applied to environmental research. |

? Ability to understand the purpose of research in the built environment and the different methods with which this can be achieved.
