Course description | Indicative course content
Landscape Design is the core subject for stage 1. It consists of a series of increasingly complex design projects. These projects build on each other and are used to test theories and integrate skills and knowledge aquired in all other modules. Part 1 focuses on the design process and developing an understanding of of space making and placemaking as fundamental building blocks of landscape Architectural Design.
Aims of course
1 To introduce the design process
2 To apply and test skills and knowledge gained in this subject and others in level one modules
3 To develop an awareness of the qualities of spaces and places
