Reflecting the aims of ASN, students will explore contemporary issues of cross-disciplinary practice and theory. In this module students will consolidate their experience and define, collect and analyse in greater depth the basis of their practice-led investigations. Inherent in this process is the need to develop the ability to document, archive and professionally present your research explorations and recurrent themes of interest.
Aims of course
1 to develop research material that communicates a progression of ideas
2 Expand the student&©s knowledge base through lectures, seminars and studio discourse, allied with practice based workshops and short field works.
3 Prompt, through a plan of practice, how the student will structure and develop their practice

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Reflection: assemble research information from areas of personal interest and develop an individual method of archiving and presenting explorations and findings
2. Porgression: articulate the transition of individual research explorations through exhibition and critical dialogue with peer groups and invited audiences
3. Planning: evolve systems of working which enable practice to be continuously underpinned and informed by personal research |
