Students are encouraged to build upon and further develop the body of knowledge gained from their Diploma subject area. They can choose between a Dissertation (detailed written discourse of 15,000 words) or a Design Project and Report of no fewer than 2,000 words.
Aims of course
1 Demonstrate skills in rigorous investigation and synthesis in the production of an authoritative written discourse or design project.
2 Develop a personal position on what represents a high standard of architecture, conservation or urban design, and establish a position in relation to the wide-ranging debate on the subject.
3 Experiment on a theme within a particular area of interest and challenge preconceptions,pursue an enquiring and critical approach to both process and product
