Course description | Indicative course content
In week 1 of the term the student will participate in a design project in multi disciplinary teams with students from the School of the Built Environment at Heriot-Watt University. The project concludes with presentations of the work. At the end of Term 1 the student will participate in a contract simulation game after delivery of the formal lectures delivered in Module PFS6002.
Aims of course
1 To work with students of related professional disciplines to respond to a brief and produce conceptual designs
2 To simulate the workings of a contract through scenarios presented from appointment to final account.

Mode of delivery
Studio based work supported by group tutorials for collaborative exercise. Student centred learning in a controlled simulation game supported by lecture series delivered in module PFS6002. |
