Lecture course and plant walkabouts in Royal Botanic Gardens
Aims of course
1 to provide a practical and theoretical knowledge of horticulture.
2 to communicate knowledge about the use of plant material in design, growth characteristics, environmental requirements and aesthetic qualities.
3 to develop plant recognition skills and the ability to explore the qualities of plants as a design medium.
