(1)  As an alternative, students may take the Mathematics courses prescribed for the Year 1 programme of the Physics MPhys.
(2)  As an alternative, students may take the Mathematics and Mathematical Physics courses prescribed for the Year 2 programme of the Physics MPhys.
(3)  Progression to Honours requires a minimum average grade of 'C' performance in MP2A: Vectors, Tensors and Fields and MP2B: Dynamics, OR in Foundations of Mathematical Physics
(4)  Progression to the final years of the MPhys programme requires no less than than 55% overall in Junior Honours. This is in addition to the general progression requirements.
(5) The Programme Guide gives details and constraints on choice of courses, to facilitate advance planning.
(6) To be delivered from 2009/2010.
(7) To be delivered only in 2008/2009, not in 2009/2010.
