Business Research Methods II: Applications and Analysis (U04630)? Credit Points : 20 ? SCQF Level : 10 ? Acronym : SBE-3-BRMII This course represents a new addition to the undergraduate programmes in Business Studies single honours and combined degrees and International Business degrees. In year 2, students are also required to take Quantitative Research Methods in Business . This course provides a good grounding in statistical analysis techniques, although there is limited opportunity within the course to apply quantitative data analysis within the context of a research project. Thus, a gap is considered to exist in the current programmes in terms of a broader discussion of research strategies and design and philosophy of research, qualitative research methods and data analysis and the opportunity to put core skills into practice in preparation for dissertation research. This course aims to address this gap. Moreover, it is considered essential that students in a research-led university are provided with a good grounding in research methods. The aim is to integrate this course with QRMB to fully satisfy the QAA benchmark statements for business and management degrees. Entry Requirements?
