Statistics in Forensic Science (U04226)

Course for final year students in Honours programmes in Mathematics.

Introduction using the Bayesian paradigm of some statistical ideas not presented elsewhere in the curriculum, along with other more familiar statistical ideas, with examples from forensic science and the evaluation of evidence.

Entry Requirements

? Pre-requisites : Passes at C or better in MAT-2-FoC, MAT-2-SVC, MAT-2-LiA, MAT-2-MAM, MAT-2-Prb, MAT-2-SMe, MAT-2-StM
