Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
After completing this course, students will be able to:
?demonstrate skills in using MATLAB to solve chemical engineering problems ?demonstrate ability to construct computer algorithms for implementation in MATLAB programs ?describe and apply numerical methods to solve a variety of mathematical and statistical problems in a chemical engineering context. Assessment Information
The course is continuously assessed by weekly computing labs (25 %), a hand-in exercise to test the computational skills (25 %) as well as an open book class test (50 %). There is a resit written paper in August for anyone failing the assessment.
