Baroque: An Italian Introduction to the Universe (VS1) (U04075)? Credit Points : 20 ? SCQF Level : 9 ? Acronym : LLC-3-U04075 Baroque is essentially ?an Italian phenomenon? We will explore this modern (Italian) universe looking at the lavish paintings by Caravaggio and Artemisia, listening to the powerful music by Vivaldi, reading the hilarious stories of Bertoldo and Bertoldino, the ingeniuous heresies of Menocchio, the philosophical plays by Giordano Bruno and the scientific theories of Galileo. ?
