Acronym : GEO-3-F&W The course introduces a common framework to address diverse problems of Earth physics based on special cases of the telegraph equation. It describes its geophysical applications to fluid dynamics, and to gravity, magnetic, electrical, electromagnetic and seismic problems. Entry Requirements? Pre-requisites : Seismology, Geodesy & Geomagnetism; Physics 2A: Forces, Fields and Potentials; Mathematical Methods 4/Applicable Maths 4; or Foundations of Mathematical Physics.
