This course gives an overall knowledge of the history of musical instruments with a particular regard to the instruments of Western art music, and develops a critical approach to relevant information sources.
Assessment Information
One 3000 word essay (45%). Presentation (10%) to be scheduled by course organiser. 2 hour degree examination in the May examination diet.
