Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
The student should be able to:
- appreciate and understand the legislative framework which underpins child health decisions. - Discuss the rights of the child and his/her role within the health care decision making process - Discuss the ethical decision making process and identify their role within that process - Critically examine theories on the relationship between social factors and health status - Assess the impact of social and cultural influences on the health of their own client group - Utilise the understanding gained to enhance the quality of care they deliver and their own professional practice Assessment Information
