Students learn to read and write the Arabic script.
Students acquire knowledge of up to 1,000 key vocabulary items and the core concepts of Arabic grammar.
Students will gain the ability to understand, speak, read and write elementary Modern Standard Arabic to an advanced elementary / low intermediate level.

Such exercises and test/examinations as may be set by the course tutor for pass/fail
