The aims of this module are to:
- lay out the international framework for legal regulation of public health, invoking roles for both the UN and WHO. - focus specifically on legal responses to threats and attacks on public health, as well as on measures to use personal data (such as DNA or biometrics) to counter such threats - consider initiatives to promote public health through research and the attendant legal and ethical issues.
