Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of the semester, the student will be able to:
- understand the definitions and topics that are understood to cover electronic commerce, - assess the regulatory solutions applied to electronic commercial transactions, - be able to understand the different legal regimes that apply to the various types of electronic commerce, namely business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and consumer-to-consumer. - analyse the problems with conducting business in a global marketplace, specially in topics such as contract formation, jurisdiction, payment methods, and liability, - assess the regulatory solutions applied to electronic commercial transactions.
