Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course students should be able to demonstrate (1) a critical knowledge and understanding of the history of private law through study of specific topics; (2) an appreciation of the comparative approach to legal-historical study; (3) an ability to comment critically and engage in debate on the issues examined.
