The course is split into two sections. Clinical Neuropsychology A introduces a range of clinical assessment and rehabilitation methods and is taught by Dr Sharon Abrahams. Clinical Neuropsychology B includes invited guest lectures from Clinical Neuropsychologists working in Scotland.

The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to clinical neuropsychology. The student will be introduced to methods of clinical neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation. A range of neuropsychological test procedures will be introduced. The student will also be introduced to the neuropsychological profile of a range of neurological disorders including the dementias, epilepsy, head injury and the assessment and rehabilitation of neuropsychological disorders including both memory and executive dysfunction. Teaching is provided by Dr Sharon Abrahams in addition to a number of invited clinical neuropsychologists.

This course will run weeks 1-5 in semester one and weeks 2-6 in semester two.
