Strategic Management (Pt MBA) (P00321)

? Credit Points : 10  ? SCQF Level : 11  ? Acronym : SBE-P-P00321

Strategic Management is concerned with what a business is trying to achieve and how it will try to do so. The questions we ask in strategy often appear simple, but the answers can be very complex. Similarly, the concepts that we use often appear very straightforward, but they are, in practice, difficult to apply. This course integrates other knowledge from your previous learning and experience to identify and address the strategic concerns of firms. There is rarely a right answer, but there are often many unconvincing and unpersuasive ones. As someone who will be engaging in persuading others about what the strategy of an organization should be, you will need to have a view, and an argument that will persuade others. By the end of this course, you should be better able to engage in such an argument.
