The course builds on Nursing 1 and Health and Society 1a & 1b. Semester 1 focuses mainly on the teaching of biological sciences and nursign care. Semester 2 focuses on communication with the focus now on mental health problems. The key curricular concepts and the practice enable the students successfully to meet the learning outcomes in the four domains of the Foundation Programme.
