50% or above at the first attempt in at least two of the four Informatics
2 courses together with passes in all remaining compulsory courses, or
the permission of the Head of School. |
** Entry to Fourth Year requires an average
of 55% at the first attempt across courses taken in third year, or the
permission of the Head of School. |
***Entry to Fifth Year requires an average
of 40% at the first attempt across courses taken in fourth year and passes
in both MInf Informatics Project Planning and MInf Project Phase 1, or
the permission of the Head of School. |

as well as restrictions on choice of courses, will be available for students
entering the year to facilitate advance planning. |
†† With the permission of the
School Curriculum Approval Officer, 10 points may be taken at level 10
to assist the student in preparation for the MInf project. |
