* Entry to Third Year requires passes at 50% or above at the first attempt in at least two of the four Informatics 2 courses together with passes in all remaining compulsory courses, or the permission of the Head of School.
** Entry to Fourth Year requires an average of 55% at the first attempt across courses taken in third year, or the permission of the Head of School.
***Entry to Fifth Year requires an average of 40% at the first attempt across courses taken in fourth year and passes in both MInf Informatics Project Planning and MInf Project Phase 1, or the permission of the Head of School.
†  Documentation giving details, as well as restrictions on choice of courses, will be available for students entering the year to facilitate advance planning.
†† With the permission of the School Curriculum Approval Officer, 10 points may be taken at level 10 to assist the student in preparation for the MInf project.
