The range of specialist option modules available may vary according to staffing arrangements.
Specialist options in Hellenistic Studies will initially include the following:
  Egypt under the Ptolemies
  The Hellenistic City
  Epicurus and Epicureanism
  Power and Culture in Hellenistic Poetry
  Hellenistic Art and Archaeology
Students who are not taking Greek or Latin language can choose to replace one of their options with an alternative from elsewhere in the MSc courses offered in the Classics subject area.
Further to discussion with the programme director a student may also choose an option from the suite of courses offered by the School.
