* If taking the Sociology Project students are expected to use part of the summer vacation of their third year on research for it.
† Students who wish to be eligible for the British Psychological Society's Graduate Basis for Registration MUST take the Dissertation in Psychology.
‡ Entry to Honours requires a pass at 50% or above in Psychology 2, at the first attempt, and a pass in the combined mark of the statistics components of the Psychology 2 degree exams.
— A booklet giving details about the courses being offered in any one year, as well as about restrictions on choice of courses, will be available to students entering the course to facilitate advance planning.
In order to progress to Honours, students must normally have achieved a mark of 50% or more in all required second-year courses.
