* Honours degrees must include 40 credits of dissertation work.  Where this is taken in English Literature a 20 credit unit towards the dissertation will be taken in third year, and a 20 credit completion unit in fourth year. Where the dissertation is taken in Classics the 40 credit unit will be undertaken in fourth year.
