‡ A booklet giving details as well as restrictions on choice of courses will be available on line in the subject area to facilitate advance planning.
# Entry to Honours normally requires a pass, at the first attempt, in Linguistics 2A and Linguistics 2B, with an average mark across these courses of 50% or above; and a pass at 50% or above in either Gaelic 2A or Gaelic 2B (for Modern honours options) or in Celtic Literature 2A and Celtic Literature 2B (for Medieval honours options).
