† For timetable reasons, Latin and Linguistics may not be combined in years 1 and 2.
‡ For entry to Honours, the requirements are normally a pass with an average of 50% or above, at the first attempt, in Greek 2a and Greek 2b combined, or in Latin 2a and Latin 2b combined; and a pass at 50% or above, at the first attempt in either English Language 2 or a pass in 2nd year Linguistics courses, with an average mark across the Linguistics courses of 50% or above.
