* students must select at least one course in each of 3 Music Honours subject groups in Year 3.
† courses in another subject only available if this option has NOT been taken in Year 3.
At the end of Second Year, students who achieve an average mark of 50%, and who have gained a pass in all courses, will be admitted to Junior Honours.
Students who do not achieve an average mark of 50%, or who are carrying courses from First or Second Year, will be admitted to Third Year. Entry into Third Year does not, however, preclude students from eventual progression to Senior Honours. Students will be allowed to progress from Third Year to Senior Honours if they achieve an average mark of 40% at the end of their Third Year, and have passed all outstanding courses by the August examination diet of that year of study.
