Population Medicine and Veterinary Public Health III (U03899)? Credit Points : 10 ? SCQF Level : 9 ? Acronym : VET-3-PMVPH3 This course comprises a group of related subjects which have, as a common theme, the study and control of disease in populations, in contrast to the individual. The populations are both animal and human; the Course therefore includes control of zoonotic infections and food hygiene. The subject matter of this Course hitherto had been taught in a variety of locations in the veterinary curriculum; most recently, in Fourth Year. However, the subjects are now spread throughout the veterinary course (in a so-called 'vertical thread'). After careful consideration, it has been decided that this approach is likely to be the most educationally efficient way of presenting the subjects. Entry Requirements? This course is not available to visting students. Subject AreasHome subject areaBVMS, (Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Schedule S) Delivery Information? Normal year taken : 3rd year ?
