Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
Describe the Cambridge-Calgary Veterinary Consultation Model; Apply the principles of active listening and observation; Contribute actively in team work, adopting varied team roles, providing and receiving appropriate feedback; Demonstrate written and oral skills of explanation appropriate to diverse audiences; Apply the principles of PPDP within a portfolio; Appreciate financial and ethical issues in veterinary practice. Recognise the communication skills required in varied situations of practice. Assessment Information
At the end of the course, students will prepare a portfolio submission and formative feedback will be provided.
