Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to the law of business entities as it is in force in Scotland, with reference to applicable UK and EU law.
The objectives of the course are to provide members of the class with a basic knowledge of the subject (excluding insolvency), set in its appropriate business and economic context, and to develop, through a tutorial programme, powers of reasoning about, and skills in analysing, factual, theoretical and practical situations in terms of business entities, with a view to advising on and writing about problems involving this branch of the law. This course will be assessed by an essay worth 100% of the final mark. This is to be submitted at the end of the first semester.
