Social Evolution (U00753)

This course will focus on a range of conceptually related topics, addressing social evolution at a number of levels. Throughout, the focus will be on general theoretical principles, and how they can be applied to a variety of organisms (from parasite virulence, to policing by honey bees, to violent fights to the death in fig wasps, to babysitting in meerkats).

Entry Requirements

? Pre-requisites : Permission of the Curriculum Approval Officer. Normally Behavioural Ecology 3 is required or concurrent attendance at Animal Evolution.
