Evolution and the Brain (U00751)

The evolution of the brain, including that of hominids. The role of tool use in brain evolution. The genetics of intelligence and migration behaviour. Sex differences. Evolutionary psychology. Cognitive ecology. Applied aspects of brain structure and evolution. The roles of genetics and the environment on brain structure and function.

Entry Requirements

? Pre-requisites : Permission of the Curriculum Approval Officer. Normally Brain & Behaviour 3 is required, or concurrent attendance at Animal Evolution.
