Chromosome Structure and Function (U00560)

This elective will deal in depth with some currently exciting areas of chromosome research. Course will include 2 lectures plus 6 literature discussion sessions (each discussing two original articles). Each article is presented by two students, and each student will present two papers to the class. All students will be expected to read all articles and be prepared to discuss them in class. Attendance will be taken, and evaluation will be by an essay discussiong a paper to be chosen in consultation with the instructors.
