? Additional Class Information : Tutorials and one-day drawing office to be arranged Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- design structural steel members to resist axial tension and compression, and to resist bending moments and shear forces; - arrange structural members in a structurally efficient way to transfer design loads; - evaluate moment of resistance of reinforced concrete beams and their modes of failure - design reinforced concrete beams, one-way slabs and columns.
