Principles of Microelectronic Devices (P02535)? Credit Points : 10 ? SCQF Level : 11 ? Acronym : EEL-P-PGANA While it is possible for high-level digital system designers to ignore the physics behind the operation of semiconductors, an analogue designer has to be aware of them. The analogue operation of the devices is intimately bound up in the physics of the semiconductor material, and so it is necessary for the designer to appreciate the physics. This module is not a replacement for an Honours degree in Physics, but it will give you enough background to understand how the physics of device operation will affect your circuits. Topics to be covered include: ? Keywords : microelectronics semiconductor analogue Entry Requirements? Pre-requisites : BEng or MEng Electronics and Electrical Engineering degree, or similar Subject AreasHome subject areaElectronics, (School of Engineering and Electronics, Schedule M) Delivery Information? Normal year taken : Postgraduate ? Delivery Period : Not being delivered ? Contact Teaching Time : 3 hour(s) per week for 11 weeks All of the following classes
