The course will allow the candidate to undertake a study to explore and develop a theme of relevance to their current working environment, or an area of interest that has arisen during their period of study.

Entry Requirements

? Pre-requisites : Completion of the Diploma in Anaesthesia Practice

? Costs : Students will be required to have regular access to a networked computer, and will be reponsible for providing their own computing equipment and consumables.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

This feature will require a high level of commitment and application from the candidate and provides a valuable exercise in the writing and presentation of information to a standard that engages appropriately with academic conventions in relation to style, tone, structuring and referencing.

Assessment Information

Dissertation (12-15,000 words).

The University of Edinburgh's postgraduate common marking scheme will be used (assessment of dissertation component).
